Tweets,
The Seattle Audubon trip to Sunrise on 8/19 was surprisingly good for
species variety. We started hiking at 0830 and hiked the rim trail to Shadow
Lake, up to the Emmons Glacier viewpoint, then to Frozen Lake and Fremont
Lookout. Highlights included an ambitious Sharp-shinned Hawk chasing a Band-tailed
Pigeon and two Cooper's Hawks harassing a juvenile Northern Goshawk at close
range. The majority of species were seen early in the day along the forest
trail between the parking lot and Shadow Lake. Species seen and/or heard-
