I know September is the big migration month for turkey vultures and last
year was especially eventful in the Seattle and surrounding area for large
kettles of these guys heading southward. This month, however, I've had
four kettles of from 12-34 vultures reported just recently from the
Sullivans and Andrea Grad. So, you might give a glimpse up from the
shorebird and duck habitat to check on early migrants of the stork persuasion..

In my Bothell yard I've had western tanagers passing through this past week.
