I stopped by Spencer Island yesterday between 5-7pm. Among the usual
suspects, here's what I saw:

Bank Swallow (3; at the end of 12th St. NE)
Orange-crowned Warbler
Sharp-shinned Hawk

The mudflats on the south side of the cross-island dike trail had both
Short- and Long-billed Dowitchers, Least and Western Sandpipers. 3 Baird's
Sandpipers were feeding on the edge of the group of about 60 shorebirds
total.
