Migration is certainly starting. Please remember to update this alert with
your sightings.

On August 16, Gary Roberts reported 2 LAZULI BUNTING in Richland.

Nancy LaFramboise found 6 species of warblers on Bateman Island on August
23. There were good numbers of ORANGE-CROWNED, YELLOW AND YELLOW-RUMPED
WARBLERS. In addition there were 1 TOWNSEND'S, 1 NASHVILLE and 3
MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLERS. On the Yakima Delta that day there were 2 MARBLED
GODWITS.

On August 24, Laurie Ness reported 4 WARBLING VIREOS in her North Richland
yard.

Also on the 24, the 2 MARBLED GODWITS remained at the Yakima Delta and up
to 3 STILT SANDPIPERS were seen. On August 26, there were 4 MARBLED
GODWITS at the Yakima Delta.
