Greetings All

Birded Crockett Lake in the mist early Sat AM.

Highlight was 6 Buff-breasted Sandpipers in scattered groups (1-3 birds)
along salicornia on south side, which is not watery since recent rains. Be
careful, the mud there can be treacherous, and the buffies like to play
hide-and-seek.

Also, 2 Pecs, 2 Semi Sands, and 2 Stilt Sands.

Among more common shorebirds: 65 GYell, 20, LYell, 100 dowitchers, 800
Western Sands, 100 Least Sands, 40 Semi Plovers, NO KILLDEER (Yeah!), 2 Sanderling.

Cheers
Steven Mlodinow
