Folks,
This morning there was an 'Oregon' Dark-eyed Junco on my condo deck; I
live on NE border of Seahurst Park in west Burien. This is about 6 weeks
early for this species! This past week I have seen female first-year
'Myrtle' Yellow-rumped Warbler, juvenile Yellow Warbler, adult Black-
throated Gray Warbler, and adult male Rufous Hummingbird. I am having
hoards of this-year's Black-capped Chickadees to my feeders plus Red-
breasted Nuthatches have started visiting and hauling off seeds as was
reported by another Tweeter. Brown Creepers appear to have had good
nesting success this season in Seahurst Park. I have also seen Cedar
Waxwings, both adults and juvies in the past 3 weeks in Seahurst forest.
