I said the Ruff was on the tiny pond just west of Helen's Pond at
sundown. That should have been just east of Helen's Pond. There is a small
wet area in the field on Sequm-Dungeness just before you cross the creek and
turn east on 3 Crabs Road which has been productive this summer and that
should be checked if the Ruff is not on Helen's Pond or the small puddle to
the EAST.
Russell Rogers tells me that he was the one to find the Ruff on Sunday.
He was looking for BUFF-BREASTED sANDPIPERS which are occrring in numbers
around Vancouver B.C. as well as the two found by the Sullivans at Ocean
Shores.
