I apologize if these have been posted already -- I haven't had time
to go through all this past weekend's posts. There were six GREAT
EGRETS on the mudflats at Bay City (a few miles east of Westport along
Hwy 105) on Friday, 8/27 (at approx. 4:00 p.m.), Saturday, 8/28 (at
approx. 10:00 a.m.), and Monday, 8/30 (at approx. 6:30 p.m.). They were
in the same area all three days: on the north side of the Hwy 105
bridge at Bay City (the big bridge just east of Brady's Oysters), at the
east end of the bridge.
