Drove through Bowerman Basin today (Grays Harbor County) and easily spotted
the immature red-shouldered hawk at the NW corner of Paulson Rd and Airport
Way. It was perched back in the trees about 100 ft but easily seen now that
the leaves are gone.

I also saw the immature snow goose that has been hanging around the same
area, but it had moved to the open field across from the new Home Depot in
Aberdeen on Port Industrial Rd.. This is the same field where I found the
pink-footed geese last year when we couldn't find them near the Hoquiam STP.
