Hello all,
Walked around Bennington Lake today in sunshine! and found 6 Killdeer, 1 Dunlin and 1 very late Spotted Sandpiper. Also had 4 Common Redpolls fly over and Mike found 1 Great Horned Owl.
Later we walked around Bonsella and Melrose streets in Walla Walla where up to 8 Blue Jays have been reported. We only found 1 and the oak tree seems to be empty of acorns.
On Sunday, November 28 I had 40 Bohemian Waxwings in our yard. Still have all three chickadee species with 5 Mountains coming in now to our feeder.
Good Birding,
MerryLynn
