On my way home from work today, I saw 8 Wild Turkey next to and on the road. I found them at Hwy 174, MP 28 coming up the hill out of Grand Coulee.

I then stopped at the north end of Medical Lake. The lake was frozen over yesterday, but a warm front came through. There were many birds on the lake. I saw the following:

Canada Goose 2
Mallard many
Hooded Merganser 11
Ring Billed Gull abundant
American Coot 1
Common Merganser 3 - 1 male in breeding plumage
Ring Necked Duck 1 pair
Great Blue Heron 1
