Saturday in Tenino a female "yellow-shafted" flicker came to my suet feeder minutes after putting it out. A similar (same?) bird was present in the neighborhood last year. Could not find the large siskin flock that last weekend hosted a male redpoll. Just several smaller flocks of 35 to 3.
