12:50am start - water level high (even with low tide) with only edges of
mudflats visible (07:28 high tide - 13.2ft; 12:39 low tide - 8.0ft)
1:11pm end

Tweeters,
Low cloud layer, moving fast on a brisk, very cool wind, and choppy
waters at Turning Basin #3. I'm finally back on station after taking a
rhinovirus hit for the past seeming-many days. And with my Pentax scope
-- back after 8 weeks and two turns in the Pentax Service Center (not
the best turn-around time, even with a service re-do) -- in hand, I
checked out the Duwamish scene. Not much to see, but at least the water
is getting clearer (very turgid the past few days), with high water the
norm. Only one passerine seen, and if I were a land-bird, I'd be keeping
my head down, too.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Gadwall
Mallard (2)
Double-crested Cormorant (2)
Mew Gull
Glaucous-winged Gull (13)
Rock Pigeon (73)
Song Sparrow

May all your birds be identified,
