Just a quick comment on "Pink-sided" Juncos. This race (or group of races)
within Dark-eyed Junco has never been recorded in WA. Their breeding range is
due east or southeast of WA and their migration takes on a fairly straight
southward route. Anyway, any potential Pink-sided should be approached with great
caution, noting that many Oregons will show some dark in lores, brighter pink
sides, etc.

Also, a male Pink-sided does not have the very dark head of a male Oregon,
but rather resembles our females.
