Mountain Chickadees are still hanging around at inland locations. I had one at home (residential Othello) Saturday 12/11 and one in Washtucna this morning. At least one Blue Jay was still in Washtucna this morning north of Bassett Park. Common Redpolls continue to be seen daily at the FWS office in Othello (735 E Main St.) with 8 there this afternoon. The family of Trumpeter Swans is still using a field (Road E SE X 14.8 SE near the dairy) just NW of Royal Lake, Columbia NWR. Bald Eagles have moved into the Coulee Dam area with 75 counted along the shores of Banks Lake on 12/14, mostly away from SR 155.
