Location: Breaker Lake, Pacific County, Washington
Date: December 22, 2004

Breaker Lake is a series of properties owned and managed by
Columbia Land Trust. This Report is part of a two year
project to inventory bird use on the site.

It was an interesting day today with overcast skies and a
light wind. I kept expecting it to start raining, but lucked
out. Two new species for the sight were seen today: RED-
BREASTED SAPSUCKER and ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD. I will gush
about the hummingbirds in a separate note.

The BEAVERS have rebuilt the dam at the access road. It looks
like a couple of GUYS in big-wheeled trucks were through. And
somebody with blue paint, presumably marking the location of
the new gate.
