Thanks, Patrick for the update. I was one of the unfortunate ones that showed
up at 10:00 A.M. and had just missed seeing the Redwing. A group of about
forty seached the area for several hours without success in relocating the
Redwing. I left about 1:00 P.M. When I arrived there was a large flock of Robins,
approximately a 100 in the location of where the Redwing had been spotted.
Around 10:30 they dispersed in all directions as did the birders.We made a good
effort to relocate the Redwing, but to no avail. I will try again on Sunday.
