Subject: Redwing in new location

Jeanne Gordner just called to say she saw the Redwing in her front yard at
3:45 this afternoon (Dec. 27). The address is 4504 14th NW and is maybe 2
miles NW of previous sightings (e.g. 4th & Decatur). It was at the edge of
an unidentified bush near the street about 5' off the ground. Jeanne
reported that it was cheeping "like a Douglas squirrel" and not afraid of
her. She evidently got quite close to it. Eventually it flew away.
