On Sunday I hit the Olympia neighborhood around 9am. I got on the FRS (Ch 11 subch 22) and asked if anybody had it. Immediately I got a response that they did, indeed. I looked to my left and there was a big cluster of folks, next block over. I parked and ran, and was immediately offered a look through a wonderful scope at this beautiful bird. The fellow offering the look was the Iowan. He hung around for another couple of hours, during which the bird was reacquired several times and I got great looks through my own binoculars. So, a great time for both of us! (and embarrassingly easy for me)

I walked around the neighborhood for a while, and the several obviously local (not carrying binoculars) people I encountered all asked "Did you see it?!" Great neighborhood!
