Subject: Rattlesnakes (in Pipestone Canyon: where is that?)

That's Okanogan County, DeLorme map p. 99, A8 about 3 mi NE of Twisp (Twisp
is on Hwy 20) in the Methow Wildlife Area.

(I didn't remember where Twisp was so I looked it up. I figured others
might not know or remember Twisp either.)

Where is Pipestone canyon?

Pipestone Canyon is a hidden gem just northeast of Twisp. Incredible rock
formations with good habitat for great birds like those melodious Canyon
Wrens! Wonderful spring birding and, as it warms up a bit, good rattlesnake
country.
