Although Totem Lake is only a small fraction (24 acres) of the more commonly
visited Juanita Bay Park, it is still worth a look. Parking is easy as you
pull right up to the boardwalk behind the Cowboy Steakhouse and much of the
wetland can be easily seen from the trails.

On Tuesday, at about 4 PM, among the usual cast of characters, I was pleased
to watch a Yellow-Rumped Warbler hawking from perch near the trail for about
45 minutes.
