Subject: RFI: Woodpeckers (Lewis, 3-toed, wh head)

Thanks to everybody who responded to my previous RFI. I believe that's the best response I've gotten from any state birding listserve.

Again, I'll be visiting your state in mid-August, which may not be the best time for most land birds, but I'd like to find the following - Lewis', 3-toed, white-headed, and Williamson's sapsucker. I'll be spending two days in the North Cascades area, and I'd like to know some good places along (or near) Hwy 20 for these species.

Other target birds along Hwy 20 include Townsend's warbler, white-winged crossbill, and chukar.

Thanks again - more to come later.
