www.goert.ca. Also, if you go to www.conservationconnection.bc.ca you
can search over 100 conservation organizations on southern Vancouver
Island to see who knows anything about Garry Oak and associated species.

Incidentally, some large Garry Oaks were cut down in Victoria to make
way for a hospital expansion. They were thought to be about 400 years
old by size, but turned out to be only 150 - just growing in good
conditions.
