Subject: Skagit Headquarters - Saw-Whet

Hi,
We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the Skagit Headquarters yesterday. The
highlights were the Northern Saw-Whet Owl, the Cooper's Hawk and a Northern
Harrier that seemed to want it's portrait taken.
Also, when we first arrived, I got a fleeting glimpse through the lifting
fog of a large gray raptor. It didn't have any of the darker markings of a
Red Tail or a male Harrier. Looked the most like a white Gyrfalcon in the
book but I didn't see it long enough for a solid ID. Anyone else seen
anything of this sort in that area?
