In my monthly bulletin from the State Veterinarian's Office I found the
following;



"Regarding West Nile Virus, in Washington State this past year nearly 900
dead birds, 67 horses and 435 samples from sentinel chicken flocks were
tested, No positives were found. Washington State and Oregon were among only
5 states that did not detect WNV activity in 2003."



Lets keep our fingers crossed for this summer!
