12:25pm start; water level <7ft
12:44pm end; water level ?? Outgoing tide

Tweeters,
Another blue-sky day! The dredging continues, and where the barge is located blocks from my view about 50% of the opposite shoreline. Two RED-TAILED HAWKS were perched about 8ft apart on the power tower along SR 599 to the southwest of me. I haven't seen or heard BUSHTITS for quite some time, but a flock of 16 flew past me from the butterfly bush on my left to the birch tree on my right. Note: The water level marker has taken some abuse, and I'm not certain of the level below 9ft, except by extrapolation of the markings I can see.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Gadwall (6)
Mallard (2; flyby)
Double-crested Cormorant (3)
Red-tailed Hawk (2)
Mew Gull (7; 5 were swimming near the pier opposite me, which isn't usual)
Glaucous-winged Gull (12)
Rock Pigeon (27)
American Crow (2)
Bushtit (16)
Bewick's Wren
House Finch

May all your birds be identified,

Denis DeSilvis
