at Boundary Bay, in the Vancouver B.C. area, and talked to many birders who
have also witnessed it. During the winter months more than 100 Bald Eagles
will be spread out along the foreshore and nearby areas, seeking and
exploiting opportunities. On one recent visit I observed three different
Eagles feeding on duck kills, and have seen successful kills by Eagles that
repeatedly dove on ducks on the ocean's surface.
