Cascadia Hummingbird Report - Feb 16, 2004

It's still early, so the dearth of reports isn't surprising.
Of those that did come in over the last two weeks the report
from McMinneville is most probably another member in the
"over-winter birds moving around" category.

Eureka, CA 02/03/2004 40.7953 124.1558
McMinneville, OR 02/08/2004 45.2044 123.1978
North Bend, OR 02/14/2004 43.4061 124.2362
Brookings, OR 02/15/2004 45.5592 122.1742

I also found the following Rufous Hummingbird report listed
during the Great Backyard Bird Count. I have no way of knowing
whether these are first detections, birds that have been around
for awhile or outright misidentifications.

Long Beach, CA
LaHabra Heights, CA
Trinidad, CA
Placentia, CA
Roseville, CA
San Luis Obisbo, CA
Sunnyvale, CA
Van Nuys, CA

Anyone out there who has information on these birds, please let
contact me.

Half-a-bee, philosophically must ipso-facto half not-be.
But half the bee, has got to bee Vis-a-vis its entity...
d'you see?
But can a bee be said to be or not to be an entire bee
When half the bee is not a bee due to some ancient injury?
