Hello all,
Today while birding with Marvin Cooper, John Williams, and Matt Bartels we discovered the following species:
Northern Saw-whet Owl - 1 bird east of Bennington Lake
Long-eared Owls - 2 birds along Stonecipher Road north of Dixie, WA
Glaucous Gull - 2 adults and 1 second winter bird in with large flock of California, Ring-billed, Herring, and Glaucous-winged Gulls. These birds were located east of the Mill Creek Bridge on Gose Street which comes off Hwy 12 west of Walla Walla. There was also a GlaucousXHerring hybrid present. The Lesser Black-backed Gull was not located today.
Later, Mike

P.S. The Great Gray Owl has not been seen since Wednesday am the 11th.
