Spent the better part of today (2/21/04) birding between Coulon Park and
the mouth of the Cedar river in Renton, King County.

I saw 7 species of gull, but no Glaucous, Slaty-backed, or Great
Black-backed Gulls.

Yet the day was not without highlights. There was a CLARK'S GREBE on the
lake today, and later,a pair of WESTERN GREBES ran together across the top
of the water. That was a nice surprise.

Also, at I405 and exit #4 was a WESTERN SCRUB-JAY.

It was a good day.
