Good Morning Ken and tweets

Yes, WOS is short for the Washington Ornithological Society. We are an
organization dedicated to increasing information and education of the
birds of Washington. We have monthly meetings, currently only held here
in western Washington, on the first Monday of the month (October thru
June) at the Center for Urban Horticulture on the UW campus. The
meetings cover a variety of ornithological topics, usually with slides.
Members receive our newsletter, WOSNews, six time a year and our
technical professional grade journal, Washington Birds. We have field
trips for our members (we usually try for two a month) in many of the
best birding locations around the state. We hold an annual meeting that
alternates locations between Eastern and Western Washington. Last year
we met in Long Beach in September. This year we will be having our
meeting June 4-6 in the Pullman/Moscow area, with field trips to
surrounding areas. You can find out more about us, and information on
joining, at our website: www.wos.org.

Look forward to seeing you in the future.
