Hi Tweets, after reading Patrick and Ruth's report of the Pink-footed Goose
along Brady Loop Rd. yesterday, I had to make a try for it today as soon as
I got home from work. I arrived at Brady Loop around 4:15pm and began my
search along Foster Rd. I checked the group of Trumpeter Swans that was
located near the radio-controlled airplane strip. There were only a few
Canada Geese present with them. A R/C airplane was flying around too at
this time. Knowing that there have been large groups of geese on the
eastern side of Brady Loop Rd., I checked out the area near Willis St..
There were good amounts of Canada Geese throughout the fields looking west
from the road. I met up with two other birders (who I forgot their names)
and I talked about the rare goose sighting and they hadn't heard of it. I
scoped the groups of geese with them and it didn't take long to pick out the
single Pink-footed Goose and the Greater White-fronted Goose. We all got
good looks at the two geese. They were located on the eastern side of Brady
Loop Rd., just a little north of the intersection of Willis St. Look west
from the road here towards the small tree line out in the field. There were
also two Canada Geese with red neck collars (PV1 and PT1) on the eastern
side of the road here too. I had no luck on the Golden Eagle though.

Good birding,
