Tweeters,
Quite damp alongside the river, with some sprinkles of rain. A bird I'd not seen near my viewing spot since late August--AMERICAN ROBIN--was perched on a bankside birch. There was a nest someplace nearby last year, and at least one bird fledged. Oh--the PEREGRINE FALCON was on the west power tower, and was actively hunting. It took off once to pursue something (out of sight), but returned to the top of the tower, north side, empty-taloned.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (2; looks like a pair, swimming close to each other)
Gadwall (8; seem all to be paired)
Common Merganser (female / flyby)
Double-crested Cormorant (4)
Peregrine Falcon
Glaucous-winged Gull (9)
Rock Pigeon (5)
Belted Kingfisher
American Crow (10)
Bewick's Wren (2)
American Robin
European Starling (28)
Song Sparrow

May all your birds be identified,

Denis DeSilvis
