Tweets and especially Olympia area birders,

As I got out of my car along 4th St. (near Orca Books) in downtown Olympia
this afternoon, two Peregrine Falcons came by overhead, calling loudly as
they together chased a Rock Pigeon about 30 ft. off the ground. This may be
a hint that the pair that attempted nesting on the Port of Olympia loading
crane may be back in the area. The spot where I saw them is really just a
few hundred meters from the inlet.
