Hi Tweets, I stopped by Perry creek this morning on the way to work. I have
to admit that I drive by this spot everyday that I goto work and never stop
to look. After today, I'll be stopping more. On the old highway side of
Perry creek, there were several Bufflehead, one female Common Goldeneye, a
few Mallards, and one Spotted Sandpiper. The Spotted Sandpiper was a year
bird for me. Next, I drove around to the other side of Perry creek off of
Madrona Beach Rd.. Here I spotted six Barrow's Goldeneye, more Bufflehead,
four Greater Yellowlegs, and about 10 Dunlin. There were plenty of gulls
present too, but I didn't take the time to sort through them.

Good birding,
