Tweeters,
Jan Watson and I braved the weather today to bird Grays Harbor and
Pacific counties with stops at Brady Loop Rd, Ocosta 3rd Street, Midway Beach Rd,
Warrenton Cannery Rd and Tokeland among others. Highlights include Dunlin
everywhere, an incredible look at a Sora on Ocosta 3rd (about 10 feet away), the
Gyrfalcon on the end of Midway Beach Rd, and a flock of 30-40 Brant,
Red-breasted Merganser, Whimbrel and Hermit Thrush at Tokeland. The weather turned
horrible with blowing snow, icy roads and freezing temps all the way home!!
