My jays and flickers are still around. Everyone is indeed eating like there's no tomorrow. Juncos, varied thrushes, pine siskins, chickadees (black-capped and chestnut-backed), song sparrows, bushtits, and downy, hairy and pileated woodpeckers and a red-tail quickly driven off by crows. Only a few starlings. My Anna's are drinking slushies. I've been bringing the feeder in at night, but it refreezes pretty quickly. (I wish I had a trouble light like Sherry!)

But the topper was a mature bald eagle that cruised over on Friday, checking out the action at the feeders. I have never seen the squirrels move so fast in my life!
