Hi Brian Carrigan from Blackfoot, Id put a trip together to the
Hayden Valley of Yellowstone Park to look for the Whooper Swan. Eight
of
us went in via snow cat to the center of the park. On Jan 2 2004. We
found
about a 100 swans but no Whooper. The sky was clear and the trip was
worth it just for the view.
The next day was again sunny so we drove up to have a go at the
Siberian Accenter. It popped up back of the cars in about 10 min. and
we
all had good looks before it flew toward the feeders. It is much
brighter
in life then the books I have for it.
