We're getting scads of birds at the moment up here on the hill over Duvall (and there's currently 6-10 inches on the ground up here). We're mainly getting Pine Siskins (100-150), Varied Thrush (20ish constantly hanging around, even hanging from tube feeders and fighting over the platforms), Evening Grosbeaks (24 I counted), Mourning Doves (10+/-), and lots of the usuals: both chickadees, Song Sparrows, juncos, towhees, flickers, Stellar's Jays, and Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers.

It's really something to see all of these species interacting in this freezing weather. I yesterday saw a grosbeak actually fight off a much-larger jay on the platform feeder. And the other birds are getting less willing to automatically take flight when a bigger bird arrives, other than a sharpie of course.
