Subject: Whatcom Falls Park - Kinglets

Hi,

Yesterday my wife and I enjoyed a snowy walk through Whatcom Falls Park.
Near the tennis courts and on the trail from the falls downstream toward the
Water Treatment Plant, we were entertained by at least 6 Golden Crowned
Kinglets foraging in the snow. We stood very still and were rewarded by
extremely close views. Several of these fellows came right up to our feet.

As we were leaving the park we got a close look at a pair of Red Breasted
Sapsuckers, again near the tennis courts.
