Been watching the feeders and surrounding ground today throughout the
snowstorm. Dozens of juncos, a few Chickadees, Varied Thrush (5) the
most at any one time and my usual California quail, (13). The quail
know how to scratch down through the snow and it sure does fly. Makes
good eating for the little guys as it brings a lot of seeds to the top.
