Columbia Estuary Report - 1/7/2004

Steve Warner reports that a TOWNSEND'S SOLTAIRE has taken up
residence in the cotoneaster at his house in Seaside.

I received several photos to identify yesterday from a feeder
watcher in Nahcotta, Pacific Co, WA. One was of a 1st winter
male ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD and the second was of a WHITE-THROATED
SPARROW. They also report a smaller hummingbird coming to the
feeder which they think might be a CALLIOPE and a small sparrow
tentatively identified as CLAY-COLORED. They've promised to
send me photos if they can get them.

Half-a-bee, philosophically must ipso-facto half not-be.
But half the bee, has got to bee Vis-a-vis its entity...
d'you see?
But can a bee be said to be or not to be an entire bee
When half the bee is not a bee due to some ancient injury?
