Hello all,
Today under a (finally) bright sun we located 4 Lapland Longspurs among thousands of Horned Larks up on Eureka Flats - west of Clyde along Sheffler Road. These flocks contained a few Pallid Horned Larks. Longspurs are difficult to find in Walla Walla County. Raptor numbers seem low with only a few Rough-leggeds and Red-taileds. Did observe 1 Northern Shrike on Touchet River Road. We hit the fog coming home on Harvey Shaw road to Walla Walla.
Later, Mike
