My mother and I have placed 5 photographs of the Great Black-backed Gull onto our yahoo website taken today from two locations at Renton,King Co.,including 4 photos taken from the mouth of the Cedar River at Cedar River Park and 1 photograph taken along the floating logbooms at the north end of Gene Coulon Park. There was a discussion made during our afternoon visit at the Cedar River park whether the bird may be possibly a 3rd year bird due to some less revealing field marks noted by a few observers. Perhaps this could be the same individual noted near Boise,Idaho that remained for a few weeks in December 2003,depending on visible field marks noted or perhaps it is a completely different bird.
