Anacortes Telescope is starting a monthly birding trip and optics workshop.
We are looking for volunteers that would like to head up the groups. We
would like to have people who have interests in certain types of birds lead
the groups to see those birds (i.e. one month we go to observe hawks and
falcons, the next month, eagles, etc). If you are interested in being a
group leader, please send an email to Jesse.Sturgeon at BuyTelescopes.com and
let him know. We will be supplying coffee, donuts/muffins, and a
port-a-potty <g>. Each month we will have one of our binocular companies
along. They will be supplying demo product for you to try out as well as a
company representative to answer your questions. After the observing trips,
we will come back to the store for an optics workshop (i.e. binoculars 101,
digiscoping, etc) with the manufacturers' rep or an ATWB employee. Our fist
trip is going to be February 22nd with Swarovski at 9AM. We are looking for
a group leader for that trip. If you are interested in attending, please
