Lydia,

I'm glad to hear that someone else has seen this. I thought I was starting to slip! Last year I spotted a gull on a power line over by Southworth. Never before, and never since. Can't be too common!

While visiting on the water near Bremerton last weekend I spied a tree with two large light colored birds sitting in the tallest branches.

My immediate thought was "Ospry! Two ospry!"

I pulled out the binocs from my husband's car and focused on the tree.

It was actually two gulls sitting on the tall branches. I thought gulls liked flat places to sit. Do they perch on branches very often.
