Today (18 January, 2004) at about 3 p. m., I saw a marked (mostly)
Glaucous-winged Gull soaring with other gulls over 43rd and Brooklyn in
Seattle's University District. Its flight feathers (primaries and
secondaries of both wings, plus tail feathers) were all dyed pinkish-red.
If readers know researchers who might be interested in this observation,
please forward my note (and let me know).

Thanks,

Alan Grenon
