For a fine article on crow roosts, you should see
*Smithsonian Magazine*, July, 1992, I think. The
article is by naturalist Bil Gilbert, who, about seven
years ago, went with a handful of Tweeter-corviphiles
on an evening walk around the Foster Island roost.

It must be amazing to be there for the first explosion
of crows leaving in the morning. Thanks for that image,
