After visiting with Ken Knittle and Mike and MerryLynn Denny
along Dike Access Road in Woodland I headed south to the Ridgefield River
"S" Unit. The most interesting species there were two TREE SWALLOWS and
three BARN SWALLOWS.
I then checked the Vancouver Lake Lowland where there was a
GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, one EURASIAN WIGEON, and five CANVASBACK at
Post Office Lake. Along Old Lower River Road there was a HARRIS' SPARROW
in the mixed flock of sparrows about one hundred yards North of the barn.
