Tweeters,
Could the BALD EAGLE that's on the light pole in the parking lot next to the river (to the south of my perch) have spooked all (or nearly so) the ducks away? The eagle has been perched there for over 2 hours, and the ducks, except for a pair of GADWALL quite a ways downstream, haven't been around most of the morning.

Quite misty, with a fresh batch rolling down over the hill to the west of SR 599 at about noon, limited visibility. But, there weren't too many birds to be seen during this period.

Birds that were seen included the following:
Gadwall (2)
Double-crested Cormorant (10; six of which were actively feeding at the south end of Turning Basin #3)
Bald Eagle
Glaucous-winged Gull (7)
Gull (spp.) (4; flying in the mist, distant)
Rock Pigeon (3)
Belted Kingfisher
Song Sparrow
House Finch

May all your birds be identified,
